dc.description.abstract | In India, the condition of undergraduate science education is in a bad shape as teaching standards at University and college level are way below the global standards. In order to work towards a sustainable and equitably developed nation it is imperative that we seek alternatives to raise the higher education standards. I see virtual education as a very viable solution to address this problem as it has a potential to satisfy large needs using less resources. Here is an attempt to build an argument in favour of virtual education medium as feasible and beneficial alternative to conventional university teaching.. In addition to this, there is also an attempt to find out the characteristics of best mode of lecture delivery in virtual education. Since I have studied biology in my undergraduate courses, I have chosen “Evolution” as a topic of for this intervention. I have chosen “Evolution” because this topic in biology has been my topic of interest during my graduation. In addition to this, it’s also the central topic in the biology. | en_US |
