dc.description.abstract | The basics of traffic flow theory are studied briefly. Traffic modeling is classified and some earlier important work in the field is discussed concisely. Lattice hydrodynamic modeling is introduced. Various lattice hydrodynamic models are presented including the most basic Nagatani’s model. Then discussion of traffic modeling is extended to two lane. At last a new lattice hydrodynamic model is proposed to investigate the traffic flow prop- erties on a circular road. | en_US |
