dc.description.abstract | Understanding plant-pollinator interactions are crucial in biodiversity conservation in the context of rapid environmental change. The fig- fig-wasp systems are a unique example of such systems. Since many fig species are pollinated only by their specific fig wasp species. Therefore, understanding such interactions becomes particularly important. In this study, I carried out a systematic literature survey to understand the interactions between eight different fig species and their respective fig wasp communities. I classified relevant studies based on the fig wasp species they investigated, and the species of pollinating as well as non- pollinating fig wasp species they described. | en_US |
